Good game-Worth plkaying if your in to the series of the godfather or just a big fan.Though i thought it was just a little to easy.but thats just me.

Godfather plays like a Grand Theft clone but has some of the feel of Godfather.If your a Godfather fan you may like this one but if no you should pass this one by.It is also to short and very easy which makes for little replay value.

This is something that my kids wanted and it was priced right. They have enjoyed playing the game. We can not wait for another Godfather to come , that is if they come out with one for xbox 360. I think it was not to violent for the kids. My oldest kid whose 23 enjoyed playing it. In fact she very rarely plays video games.

This game was purchased at the request of my grandson. I rented it for him at Blockbuster and he really liked it. I found the game on Ebay and purchased on "Buy it Now" for a good price. The game was received in good condition, functioned as expected and he was very pleased.

Once you Learn How to Fight you will do great. I like it because it reminds of the movie and I really liked the movie characters, screenplay and vocal lines in the script.

I thought this was going to be another game that ripped off Grand Theft Auto when I bought this game. It does a little, but only a little. This game, though, adds so much more. It has all the cool things from the Godfather Trilogy whether it's carrying out a hit on a rival family, paying bribes to G-Men and cops, or influencing store and hotel owners that they need your protection for a fee. You can go along with what the agenda is or you can go and try to obtain more businesses and racketeering ventures. And what's really cool about the game is that for each time you kill a member of a rival family, they keep a vendetta out on you. If you kill too many members of the same family, then a mob war starts. The only way to end the mob war (and win anyway) is to bribe a G-Men or bomb a rival business within 48 hours (time goes by rather quickly though, it's not really 48 real hours, more like 48 minutes if even that). The only gripe I had was the controls are a little goofy to get used to for a newbie when you're fighting (it kind of reminds me of Fight Night, the boxing video game). But I got used to it, and now it's no big deal at all.

Dollar for dollar, there aren't too many games that are as good as The Godfather. The storyline is exceptional, and there are so many things to do. It even lets you create yourself as a crime thug (I'm a longhaired hippie and it won't let me have long hair-minor bummer) and you work yourself up the family ladder. I bought 24: The Game and thought that game was pretty good, but that almost stinks when compared to this game. I liked the storyline on 24, but the options and gameplay on The Godfather are much much better, it's just way more fun (sometimes too fun, real time hours go by too fast when you play this game, warning to significant others). I reviewed 24 a couple months ago and now I wish I hadn't given it such a good review after playing this game. If you're a fan of the Godfather Trilogy, you'll absolutely love this game. If you're not familiar with the series (I would say "If you're not a fan", but that would be absurd. I mean if you're reading this, you can't dislike the movies unless you just dislike Godfather 3), you'll get to be a character in the movie but in game form. Parents should be cautioned with this game. It's violent and the language might not suit young ears. Otherwise, I know you'll love this game. It's unique gameplay and storyline will give you hours and hours of enjoyment.

This was a great game. I rented it liked it so much I went out and bought it. This gives new hope to games made after movies. I had not seen any of the godfather movies before playing this game. I liked it so much I ended up renting the movie. If you have seen the movie or not it shouldnt have a diffrence on the game. It does have diffrences from the movie. There are a few gliches though. The game play is a grand theft auto style.

This game takes place back in the 1930's where you rock out like a gangster working your way into the Corleone Family. The guns and cars are great; Some missions are a pain but if your a gamer you should have tons of fun with this great game....

Good game. I wait something more from this game, I think it was like GTA, but I like it. I spend a lot of hours playing it.

This game is AWESOME@!!! I was in awe the first time i saw and played this game on my console... It has one of the best graphics ever seen on a tv!!

IF you dont get this game, then idk what to tell you, you WILL MISS OUT!!


BEST GAME OF THE YEAR!!!!!

This game is awsome!!! I beat the game in a few months, just playing a couple hours a week. I liked it so much, that I started the entire game over again. I like the fact that you arn't one of the charecters from the movies, so everything you do parallels the movies. You do all of the things things that they didn't show in the movies.

It was one of the first games that 360 put out, so its not as visuially stunning as new games, but once you start to play, you will be hooked!!!

If u like GTA, Saints Row, Scarface, then youll like this game its pretty freakin awsome, game play is similar to GTA. Try and take over New York while extorting businesses, contract hits, personal favors, pay off cops, and FBI. This game is loaded with extra stuff to do, the weapons and the weapon upgrades are awsome. DILLENGER!!!

Good game, just like GTA, but with Godfather twist. Some of the missions get repetitive, otherwise great title. If you like GTA, you will like this one.

This was a fun game. You get out of it what you put into it. Just don't go in expecting it to be like GTA. I have a great time with this and put in about 35 - 40 hrs playing it. Worth a purchase.

I really enjoyed this game! I am not a godfather fan, I have seen the movies but only once. I am more of a GTA fan! This lives up to all my expectations. I did find it a little hard to get into it though. It took me a few weeks to really start enjoying it! I am now 84% complete and have over 36 hours playing this! I can wait to 100% it!

All I can say is this game ROCKS!!! I own The Godfather for my PS2 and now the XBOX 360 thanks to Ebay. Graphics and game play wise this is one of the best looking games I have ever had the plesure of playing. The XBOX 360 version of the game goes a litte deeper than the PS2 version, but both are excellant games.
If you ever watched the movie The Godfather, this is the videogame version of the movie to a tee. From Don Vito being shot, to sonny's execution at the toll booth and even Luca Bratzi "sleeping with the fishes" its all in the game. I had over 50 hours of game play on the PS2 version till I close to beating the game and have over 38 hours so far on the XBOX 360 version. The detail in the production of this game are outstanding. The 5 families fighting for control of the different cities in this game give it quiet a gaming twist. You don't have 1 enemy you have 4 differtent familys all trying to put you out of bussiness "for good". I would tell any one that like first person shooter and games where you can just kill people and blow stuff up....this is a game you have to own.

YOU GET TO FULLY CUSTOMIZE YOUR CHARECTERS FACIAL APPEARANCE,HAIRCUT,CLOTHING.YOU CAN DRIVE ANY VEHICLE INCLUDING THE BANK TRUCK WHICH IS MOST STRONG OF ALL THE VEHICLES. THE SHOOTING IS SIMPLE AND SAPHISTACATED, AIMING IS AUTOMATIC OR YOU CAN CONTROL IT. The best I like about this particular game is the story, the graphics are greeat and is a very fun game. The reason I bought it is because I had already played it for the PS2.

Great game. You actually feel like you're one of the italian men as you execute the missions and climb up the mafia ladder.Great jogability and it keeps itself updated to real time day (if it's new year, you have to execute missions according to that and you can actually hear fireworks and stuff. Besides that thre's also the quality of graphics that permits you to see blood, wounds, etc. as you hurt somebody. Great game overall.

This is a very average game, with average everything. It's a GTA clone that drops you in the world of the man movie classic, "The Godfather." The voice acting is sub par and character animations is sketchy at times. The movie clips unlocked during gameplay are a tastey treat though. If you've played a GTA styled game before than the mechanics are pretty familiar. The only real difference is the fighting system, using the right analog stick for throwing punches and roughing up those you want to extort. The game looks similar on the xbox 1, the extra dough you may have to cough up to get the 360 version might leave you unimpressed.

THIS GAMES IDEA IS FUN BUT THE CONTROLS ARE KINDA IFY!!!...DOn't know its an all right game...but it could be better
