Maybe you've never seen the movie The Godfather?! Maybe you've seen parts of it and didn't know it! It is a classic movie and a MUST SEE movie if you've never viewed it before. You probably heard different passages from the movie in other movies or television shows, like "Going to the Mattresses" or "Making an offer he can't refuse".
It begins in 1946, right after the WWII and it's a great movie, a must see, I wouldn't want to say anything about the movie to give any parts away, just that one must watch this movie and enjoy!
The second installment of the Godfather was a pretty good follow-up movie, it takes you back to the begining, the early 1900's and goes back and forth, but isn't too confusing, I would definatly suggest seeing the second Godfather.
The third Godfather movie is a piece of crap, worthless and totally a waste of ones time to watch this third installment, if getting the whole set, then maybe you may want to watch it, but it will be a waste of your time. I don't know why they thought that they needed the third movie, or why they couldn't come up with a better script.
Buy it, or rent it! And have yourself a blast!
