Goddess of the Rose by P. C. Cast (2006, Paperback)

This book gives you a Beauty and the Beast story with a more adult twist. It combines elements of mythology with your general fairy tale fantasy. If you've ever read P. C. Cast before you know that is her signature style of writing, and she has continued her goddess series well with this book. The characters are easy to like and relate to and make you want to cheer them on, sigh, and cry with them. This is an excellent book if you want to escape from reality for a while and enter a world where things do turn out positively in the face of nearly overwhelming odds. Highly recommended!

I bought this book because I had previously read Goddess of the Sea by the same author & loved it. I thought I'd try one of her other books. This one was great,too. I was impressed with P.C. Cast's style of fantsy romance writing and will continue to read her books.
