A great contribution to the Splatterpunk Genre
Michael Boatman's God Laughs When You Die is one of those books that takes you by surprise. First off, he's an actor and most of us have come to expect either mopey autobiographies or truly awful dreck (Marlon Brando) from the acting community. THis book is amazing.
Second, this book is horror in the extreme. Within this slim volume you will find stories about revenge, serial killers, drug dealers, stupid presidents and talk show hosts bringing about the mutant apocalypse. Every story hits the ground running and doesn't stop until it tears out your brain and uses it as a pencil holder.
THis is one of those truly horrifying horror books that you won't be able to forget or put down.
