Goblin Commander: Unleash the Horde (Xbox, 2003)

Ok graphics could use with a bit more detail, especially during battles. Pretty fun. lots of action.

I purchased the game because I am a big strategy game fan, but after playing it a while I am not all that impressed. Categories: Ambience 1.0 Graphics 2.0 Storyline 1.8 Gameplay 2.5 Interface 3.0 Loading 1.8 Replayability 1.0. All scores are out of 5.

Pros: The interface is creative, and I would say ahead of its time, except for a whole ton of clipping issues I was happy with it. The gameplay was actually pretty interesting Good range of skills and variety of units.

Cons: WARNING: don't play this game if you are claustrophobic, screen is always close in, and majority of rounds are played in a box canyon. Storyline is frequently lost within frustration of gameplay; It's annoying to click without a mouse, and players will always seem to be selecting the wrong unit. Iso graphics were poor even for a first generation Xbox game.

Not my favorite, but there aren't many strategy games for the xbox in the first place. I wouldn't recommend this one unless you are ready to put up with some frustrating issues that should have been solved. Better luck next time.

Love the game but it took almost a month to get here. We went crazy waiting. It shouldn't take that long.

The graphics are not exceptional, the goals are not clear, and the action isn't great either. Waste of Money.
