How to Go to College Almost for Free by Ben Kaplan (2001, Paperback, Illustrated)

This is a good book for parents or kids that are too lazy to dig up the the grant and loan informatin themselves. Sometimes these strategies seem too good to be true...kind of like all those "get rich quick in real estate infomercials" you see on TV...but if you have the patience and effort to put into some of the financial aid programs available it should pay up. Easy to read and understand.

This is a must read for college bound students and their parents it is a very easy read, not text book boring. The only problem I had was getting my kid to actually use it.

This book gives information regarding scholarships and other funding options for college for every student, including those with IEP's or disabilities. This is the second time I have purchased the book and it is always good to check out any and all resources to help with rising college costs. Easy read, good glossary and a wealth of information for future college students and their parents/guardians.

I can't say what I like, love, or dislike because I haven't reviewed the book from cover to cover. I bought it with hopes to find out more on scholarships.

This book is an easy read for a topic that isn't always easy to follow. I checked this book out from the library and found it so helpful that I wanted to own it and refer to it. This is a great read for anyone who has kids who will be entering college!

Excellent eye-catching title, really well designed book cover. I bought this book because it had been recommended by a friend. It is fairly clear and easy to read but a little vague in spots. I would add it to a list of required reading for anyone considering paying for college for either themselves of their children.
