The item was first rate, I purchased it for my daughter who recently read the book. The only thing I disliked was the time it took to arrive.

Go Ask Alice DVD had alot of the movie cut it from what I remember. The movie was ok. For the price is was ok.

I saw this film on TV when I was very young. I always wanted to see it again but had some trouble finding it until now. It still has the power to make us think and cause us to feel.

Not what I thoughtI read the book back in 7th grade. My mom told me about the movie, but we could never find it. when i bought it from ebay, and recieved it, i was a little disappointed. i had hoped for more of the book, and less of "don't let this happen to your child" type. Don't get me wrong, it has a very good point of what to look for if a kid is on drugs, how to talk to them about it, but i felt the movie could have depicted more from what the book reveals. I guess this time its true that the book was much better than the movie.

i read the book some years ago and a few weeks ago i shared the book with a friend of mine she and her daughter loved the book and i found the book on ebay and seen where there was a movie had to see it it is a powerfull movie realy liked it i recmend it

I bought this book for my 12 year old to read. I believe in being honest with my children. Since I am so scared of my kids getting into drugs I figured this book would help them to see how easy it is to fall into the life of drugs. I myself read this book as a young teenager I'm 48 now and I can honestly say it's a book that has stood in my mind after all these years.
My daughters teacher is aware of the fact that she was reading the book and a few others at the school and everyone agreed it is a powerful book and she would enjoy reading it. All but one person who thought it was to strong for a 12 year old. In the end my daughter really enjoyed the reading so much that it was hard for her to put the book down. She finished it in a matter of a week. Every chance she had she was reading it. We spoke during and when she finished it and she pretty much understood it very clearly. I recommend Go Ask Alice for anyone old enough to understand the powerful Message it has for young teen that's parent has already expressed the dangers of drug use amongst teens and young teens
