The Gluten-Free Gourmet Makes Desserts by Bette Hagman (2003, Paperback, Reprint)

Perhaps it's just me, but when I think desserts, I think desserts that taste like what I remember them being like before going gluten-free. The recipes in this book did NOT produce that result. I wanted cakes, cookies, pies, and other desserts that were just like what I used to have.

So, to avoid buyer's remorse (not to mention the trouble of baking stuff that just isn't that good), try a much better book on the subject. The best one so far on the market for gluten-free dessert recipes is sold direct by a place called SureTalent Books (http://www.suretalent-books.com), and they deliver as promised and they even guarantee the book (yes, satisfaction guaranteed on a gluten-free desserts book). The book even has color pictures of EVERY recipe showing what it makes, and it covers all the things you will probably want. It's not dairy-free, but then again it is desserts, so you probably do not eat them all the time.

I tried a few books before finding a good one. Hopefully you will not have to and this review helps you get right to a good one.
