Sheryl Crow's Masterpiece
Sheryl's last CD of the 90's is her best. This is a moody, personal album that hooks you after a couple of listens and never let's go. The hits are good (My Favorite Mistake and Anything But Down) and contribute significantly to the overall greatness of this album, but it's the album cuts that make this Sheryl's best work. There Goes The Neighborhood, It Don't Hurt, and Members Only are rocking tunes, Am I Getting Through, Riverwide, and The Difficult Kind are softer and much more personal. All of the songs are great and flow together perfectly making this her most cohesive album. There's a hidden track, Subway Ride, that is a snapshot of everything about the late 90's. This is Sheryl's masterpiece.
