The movie is a pretty good rendition of what alledgedly happened that day and the events that followed. My husband GMG3 Jack Thompson Jr. died in the explosion aboard the Iowa on April 19 1989. It was a little graphic for any family member watching. I bought it so I could explain to my 6 year old daughter what happened to Mommy's first husband someday. Only the good Lord Himself knows what really happened that day and I accept that.

why i like this movie is cause my husbands cousent is in this movie and i thought it would be great for my daughter to see who he is and what he has done and how he died. this movie is great in many ways.

) I served in the U.S.Navy and I usually like military movies I found this movie believable a good mystery basically a movie of a military cover up of a explosion aboard a us naval ship where all direct wittiness were killed and most of the evidence thrown over board.The Navy has accused a crewmen with weak evidences. The crew men's family wants the Navy to change the record which according to this movie has not happened -sad-
