The Glass Passenger [CD & DVD] by Jack's Mannequin (CD, Sep-2008, 2 Discs, Warner Bros. Records Record Label)

I like this CD, but it is lacking much of the "magic" that was present in Everything in Transit. Andrew McMahon truly made a gem with EiT; however, I felt that he may have tried to force the songs too much in TGP. Overall, this is good work from Andrew McMahon, but not the great work that was EiT. While I would like to see more JM CDs, I would rather see the band quit while its ahead rather than ride this band to mediocrity if it cannot rediscover the "magic" that was part of EiT. The Beatles edge of such songs as Mrs. Delaney was part of the "magic" in EiT. Perhaps analyzing this work of art would be a good place to start to rediscover the "magic".

i love jacks mannequin. i wanted to buy it because i really like there music. i liked that it was sealed.

Friends recommended it and they're opening for the Fray this summer- so glad I bought this CD- I've been listening to it non-stop!

Amazing album overall, solid transition from Everything in Transit but manages to keep the unique amazing sound and style.

so easy going and relaxing and all rockin'. a great mix of everything! if you know anything about Andrew's personal history you can hear his struggle and his triumph of survival in every song. the disc is moving and you will love it.

Good album....not as complete as Everything in Transit, I feel like i enjoyed almost every song off Everything in Transit and I dislike more songs on The Glass Passenger but the songs that I do enjoy are amazing. Overall its a very good album. I feel that the songs that I dont like as much will grow on me more and more. Recommendations/Favorite songs: Miss California, Spinning, American Love, Bloodshot, The Resolution
