It does what it states it is going to do

Photographs are large and for the most part very good. He divides the items by color in some books such as those for Candlesticks. Other books, such as depression glassware patterns, he orders the photos alphabetically by pattern. Either way it is easy to use. These are the books I have recommended for our public library to purchase.
The only complaint I have is that there is not extensive information about the piece in the photograph or the manufacturer and designer. There are, however, books that do that very well, whose photos in some cases are small or do not show some key characteristics. In summary, a serious scholar of glass as an art form, one needs both sets of books and be willing and able to do research on one's own.
