Gladiator (DVD, 2000)

I like the fact that the movie was new. and was able to find this. i wish that i would have gotten the movie faster.

It was a great movie and is just what I was look for. It didn't take long to get and I loved the movie. If you love boxing you will love this movie. Four stars thanks for selling it.

This movie is one of my personal favorites of all time. It nailed the storyline of an inner city youth forced to do things that are not legal or moral but chooses to make lemonade when life hands him lemons. Now days when anybody mentions the title Gladiator, you would immediately think of Russell Crowe fighting in an arena for his freedom. In the early 90's you would think of fighters such as Tommy Riley, or Lincoln. The main character of this movie is a teenage boy by the name of Tommy Riley who has moved from a neighboring city to inner Chicago where he doesn't seem to fit in, but is a very likeable character. When he becomes entangled in an illegal boxing circuit, everybody quickly realizes he is a force to be reckoned with. Befriending such people as another fighter by the name of Lincoln who is played by Cuba Gooding Jr. Tommy soon realizes that there is only one way to get his life back and goes for it. If you have never seen this movie, I recommend picking up a copy and plan a good evening to sit down and watch it, you won't be disappointed. I never received the described item. I did receive a DVD case but there was no movie in it. I e-mailed the seller numerous times with one response. The response said I can reship or give a full refund. I responded saying that I want the movie reshipped and I haven't gotten a response back nor has the movie shown up. I am very angry with the seller and will never deal with them again!

What I really like about this movie is the story line in it. You get to know the characters, and you feel for them in different situations in the movie. I would recommend this move to anyone!

Could not play the video with KMPlayer, but thats fine it worked well in my dvd player. A true classic I would say.

I chose this title because the film brings you into a world where good fighters are bound between money, fame, family and revenge. Great fight scenes, great actors and overall great story.

Stand for what you know is right and you will never go wrong.

Great Movie.

I watched this on HBO years ago and I thought it was a great movie. There are no video stores around my area that sold it or even rented it. It was one of my all time favorites and I had to have it. Excellent condition, Thank You!

This is the movie I am looking for on e-bay as I type. Its has so much meaning in masy aspects. The movie is a Must See.

This movie was very well in all aspects. it shows the acting ability of Cuba Gooding Jr. in the performance. it has a certain quality on showing how working together things can be achieved. i would recommend this movie for all adults that need some inspiration.

I love this movie. It is great to watch with my husband. He gets his action from the fight scenes and I get a little bit of romance that takes place between the main character and his girlfriend. The story is about a nice guy that has to move to a bad neighborhood, in a new town. His dad gets himself into trouble with money, so the son (main character) decides to box in order to pay off his dad's debts.

I freakin love this movie!! Its one of Cubas best movies! A MUST SEE! Its truely an underdog flick, and you really get into the movie. I would recomend this to anyone!
