Gladiator [Music from the Motion Picture] by Original Soundtrack (CD, Apr-2000, Polygram)

I love it! It's great! The cd is in great shape and the sound is beautiful. I enjoy listening to it so much!

I enjoyed the score to the movie Gladiator, especialy near the end of the movie and the ending credits, and I decided that I wanted to perchase the soundtrack.

I'll be the first to admit that Hans Zimmerman is hit and miss for me, but with the help of Lisa Gerrad, Zimmerman produces a soundtrack that reminds you vividly of the movie.

The soundtrack can produce somewhat of a blue feeling at times with some of its score, but there is enough of a miz of uplifting beats to really make this soundtrack shine. Almost every key moment from the film pops into your head as you make your way through the tracks.

If you are a big fan of the film, I encourage you to pick up this little gem.

I just bought this for my brother. I bought this CD years ago for myself and still love to listen to it.

I really loved the movie Gladiator, and the music was really nice. Many reviews that I read recommended buying the full album (as opposed to buying individual tracks on iTunes), so I did, and I don't regret buying it. It's a really good CD, and some tracks are really amazing, but not each one. In fact, a couple are kinda useless. But it's the good tracks that make up for it.
But Hans Zimmer did seem to get lazy and there are parts of the track The Battle that seemed to have been lifted to Pirates of the Caribbean, another score by Hans Zimmer. Also, the soundtrack seem Middle-Eastern inspired, but the movie takes place in Central and Southern Europe.
But other than that, this is a really good soundtrack.

Great disc. One of the better movie scores I've heard. Vocal parts add depth to the emotion of the music. Very diverse in terms of pace and intensity of the pieces. A disc any Gladiator or music fan should own.

I ordered a CD on ebay and paid for it with paypal. Two days later I had an email from the seller saying that the CD could not be shipped. By this time my cost had been billed to my credit card. So I had to go though the requesting a refund process.

Don't look for this soundtrack to cheer you up! It's beautiful music- but somewhat depressing. Makes you want to see the movie again.

Absolutely love it. Very unique and haunting music. Had DVD's stolen and this is the one I most wanted to replaced.

Beautiful music that moves the soul! I love it! Awesome CD! The Gladiator movie is super good also! And the other CD soundtrack to this movie is amazing!

I really enjoy the music of Hans Zimmer and love the music for the Gladiator movie. His music is great and always rewarding to hear.
