Give Up - Postal Service

Give Up, Postal Service's 2003 release, is the quintessential example of two creative musicians with distinct styles collaborating to make a phenomenal album. From "Such Great Heights" soothing melody, now well known for being used in marketing campaigns across the country, to "Clark Gable" quick tempo, there is something for anyone.
One of the most interesting things about Postal Service isn't even their music; it's where their name is derived from. Ben Gibbard, lead singer of The OC's favorite band Death Cab for Cutie, and Dntel's Jimmy Tamborello, collaborated to make the album by shipping beats and vocals via mail. If you haven't guessed it yet, their primary source was The United States Postal Service - hence the name.
So if you don't have the album, go get it now!!! The electronic beats, smooth rythms and indie style make this the perfect album to listen to on a lazy afternoon.
