Great resource for the FMA practioner!

It's one thing to have a great instruction book filled with highly effective techniques. To that end this book will certainly satisfy your quest for knowledge into the art of Escrima as taught by the famed Grandmaster Emeritus Leo M. Giron.
On the other hand there are hidden jewels within these pages. Whether you are a WWII buff, someone who is interested in an ethnic communities rise to prominence, or you just like a good suspenseful story THIS HAS IT ALL. I found myself capitvated with Manong Leo's encounters with the Japanese enemy and how his knowledge of Escrima saved not only his life but also the lives of the many soldiers put under his command.
I also loved the stories of teh beginnings of the Pinoy community in the USA. Even if you are NOT a martial artist, this is a great history book of our community that is important that we, and our children understand.
I've always been a BROWN and PROUD PINOY, but after reading this book, my pride and respect for those before me is overflowing.
Respects to all FMA practioners, Guro Dan, Guro Ted LucayLucay, Guro Mark Stewart, my Bahala Na teachers (GM Tony, Master Joel, Guro Mike Giron, Guro Lawrence) and above all to GME Leo M. Giron - your legacy will never be forgotten!
