love the whole CD and I would buy it again and recommend it to all my friends. Pleasantly surprised with richness of voice, details in songs, found myself singing the songs all day long. Heard her song on the commerical and liked her voice and am glad I bought the CD

Really great CD. This independent artist has a sound that is unique, and you have heard her "Sweater Song" on tv commercials for Old Navy sweaters early in the winter season. There is only one track I find rates just okay, while the others are all great. Check it out!

If you, like me, were introduced to Ingrid M. via the Old Navy commercial that features her adorable and charming "The Way I Am" you might be surprised by Boys and Girls. There are a couple other "tender" songs (such as Breakable)but there are also some heavier offerings. Ingrid's smooth, jazzy, extremely feminine voice balances these harder songs very nicely. Don't miss the hidden track 12. It's another gem.

You know that one song that you really like, the one you're gonna buy the album for? The rest of the album doesn't share that elegant simplicity. It's more Kay Hanley than that. Her aggresive approach does not steam rolls any sensitivity to dynamics.

Ever since I saw the Video, "The Way I Am", I loved the song, very original. So I bought the cd for the one song. As I listened to it, I started liking the other songs on there as well. Very Entertaining, if you like one of her songs, you'll find more than one you'll like on this cd, Girls And Boys.

I absolutely love her. She still has some growing to do, but I think she is going somewhere. She has the most beautifull voice; in some songs she captivates you. "The way I am" is a must hear for everyone who enjoys a somewhat alternative music. I give it a "2 thumbs up"!

This cd is amazing, I listen to it daily. PLus I have my kids singing right along. It is refreshing to hear good "new" artists. If you like girlie rock chicks, Ingrid Michealson is someone you want to check out.

Love *love* love* this CD. Something about it touches the heart. It's so pure, the lyrics are sincere, the voice is transcendental.

I had been hearing one of the songs from this CD for quite some time on a local FM station and fell in love with it. So I did, as I usually do, went on-line to eBay to see if someone had it available. As luck would have it there were several offerings and I purchased the CD and saved a little money off of the retail price in local stores.

The service from the seller I purchased from was excellent and shipping was very fast.

As for the CD, I'm sorry to say, there are about three good songs on it in my opinion. The local FM station that I listen to had said that she was a combination of Nora Jones and another artist. I did not find that to be true. While I do like her style on the three songs above mentioned, I found the rest of the CD to be very un-noteworthy.

This was one of the better CDs that I have bought. I had only heard about Ingrid Michaelson through a friend, and thought I would buy it for myself. Her voice is amazing, and I find myself listening to it all day long, in and out of my car.
It's easy on the ears, and tells a wonderful story. I would strongly recommend this CD to all.

Loved the Cd. The music is one that you can sing to in the car with the top down. Very umpretentious. Almost like ballads set to quarky music. I love her.

Love this CD, love her voice, think she will be huge in time.

Ingrid is such a sweetheart with a voice and sound very specifically jumping and fluttering around. A wonderful sound, will see her perform soon as I can.

Probably her best album. A great choice for your first IM and an impressive supplement if you have some of her music already.

Ingrid Michaelson is a beautiful vocalist with lilting and soothing musical quality to her songs without being overly emotional or depressing. The one qualm with this CD is that it has a couple repeated songs from "Be OK", her newest CD. There are many tracks worth buying the album for, such as "Highway" and "December Baby", so it is a good investment for anyone who likes Ingrid Michaelson or artsts like Rachael Yamagata, Priscilla Ahn, or Feist.

Ingrid's voice is so perfect and gentle and strong. The words flow perfectly. If you haven't heard her sing this is your introduction till the next cd.

Ingrid Michaelson has the ability to tell her story through the first words of her song. You know who she and what she wants to tell just by listening to her songs. "The Way I Am" is the most beautiful and simple song, although the lyrics are poignant and tell the truth of how people feel about others.
"Far Away" was a shocker for me. I started listening to it and found that I wanted to be in a car, laughing and dancing in the wind while this song played on the radio.
"Corner of Your Heart" is haunting, blending the sounds of the city into a beautiful cascade of melody. The words strike you and you know the depth and perhaps insanity of love.
All in all, the cd is amazing!

This is a totally different kind of music, however, I love it and would recommend to anyone, it is awesome.

Ingrid Michaelson's heart felt lyrics aren't just cute and fun, but also poetic and easy to relate to. If I were the type to keep a diary, I would have these words in it. Behind the catchy and infectious music are words of a women discovering the truth of love, longing, and loss. Finding someone that makes you feel like you won't die alone, and thinking they must be a masochist for having any interest. I've had this cd on repeat since I bought it.

Great artist - great songs. It was a fair price - good shipping - heard this artist on Dave Letterman that week and wanted something from her.
