The Girl in the Red Velvet Swing (DVD, 2007)

It was interesting, especially since based on an actual incident. However, a documentary on the same subject portrayed some of the characters a little differently. Let's just say that the film producer took some license with the story and perhaps made some changes to make it the way he wanted it, not necessarily the way it was. It was worth watching nevertheless. A colorful and surprisingly scandalous film for the time period. The year it was made was 1955 but it took place shortly after the turn of the 20th century.
