You may remember her from WINGS and IT'S A LIVING ... but she is also an accomplished singer. Her voice is warm and genuine. Nuance and emotion transcend the CD. HIGHLY recommended.

) Crystal has a solid voice yet she seems to hold back. The lyrics are sound yet lack any real energy. All in all this is an average cd. Good entertainment.

) I had been looking for this CD and was able to make a smooth transaction in this purchase. The song "State of Mind" is what I have been looking for. I used to have it on single and lost it. I bought it because of the seller rating and the ease of the purchase.

Nice debut C&W Album from TV Star of "WINGS"Review created: 07/06/06

Crystal Bernard is mainily known as an actress on the hit TV show "Wings" in the '90s. But even before TV stardom, she had experience writing hit songs for the Pop vocalists, Paula Abdul ("American Idol") and Peter Cetera ("Chicago"). So, she's NO TV star, come music slouch! This album is her debut CD and is generally Country in genre, with a pop flavoring. Her voice is well trained and the songs are listenable and melodic, especially the uptempo outings. All in all, a pleasant record, at least as good or better than most of the generic mush found on her old friend Paula Abdul's TV show, A.I. - very ironic since the two have switched roles!
