DVD was first in a trilogy of Canadian werewolf films.I am a horror genre fan and the Canadians had an nteresting spin on the plot concept.

One of the most intelligent horror films I've ever seen and it came from our friendly neighbors to the North, the Canadians. Emily Perkins (from IT fame) and her big sister battle werewolves and their perfectly nutty mother too. Bridget's boyfriend is very into scientific research and sells pot and does landscaping too. What a versatile guy. But back to the movie-nothing better since Trilogy of Terror in my book. Actually the film does show some of the difficulty teenage girls go through in puberty too-and in a humorous way. You gotta see this one!

My all time favorite horror movie!
) By far the best damn horror movie I have EVER seen..... I cannot believe that this never made it to the big screen and it is soo under-rated it's unbelievable...I also really like the second one Ginger Snaps: Unleashed.... Ginger Snaps the beggining was ok but it took place in the 19th century and I didn't care for as much as the first 2. I would definitely definitely recommend this movie!

ginger snapswow,what can i say,if you like blood horror buy this one,i bought it and i watched it over and over since first time i closed my eyes a few times :)movie is good from start to end,i recommend this one.2 thumbs way up
