Gilmore Girls: Our Little Corner of the World by Original TV Soundtrack (CD, Oct-2002, Rhino Records USA)

Overall I think this CD gives you a good taste of of the first few seasons of gilmore girls. Good mix of fun, sweet, and energetic music. Only a little disappointing that there's not a selection from the later cd's. But that isn't this cd's fault.

I love this CD. Since I got it, it has only once been out of my car CD player once. There is only one song I find completely useless, but the rest of them rock. These songs display a different sort of sound to them which definately represent the mood of the show. I would reccomend this CD to anybody!

Great Soundtrack that brings back the ambiance and atmosphere of Stars Hollow. If you're a fan of the show this is a must have.

I've bought the cd 'cause myself and and my wife are huge fanatics of the Gilmore girls . The music selection is good but not excellent to us!

....you might as well listen to the music to bring back the memories. I bought this for my wife, a Gilmore Groupie, as a surprise. As much as she loves the Gilmore Girls, she didn't know a CD of the music existed. She kept on saying how she wished she had the show's music to play because there were so many great memories that went with it. So since I already got her the first season on DVD, I did a search on Ebay and of course I found the one CD they made for the World According to Stars Hollow. I immediately bought it for her--the ultimate judge on the quality of the collection. It was a smash success! She loves it!

So if you want to own one little reminder of your special days in Stars Hollow, in addtion to completing your DVD library of the show episodes, buy this little CD to play in your car or to dance to in your living room. Or if you want to tell your wife that you understand her special connection to all things Gilmore, then surprise her with this. Actually, it was a pretty good place to go to once a week where you could say "I'm recording the game upstairs" and sit there with your wife and enjoy the trip to that little corner of the world with her. Another place "where everyone knows your name". Okay, so call me "Alan Alda"....22 years of successful marriage ain't a bad track record, eh?

The music was different, catchy, and fresh. Music that should be played on the radio that isn't! It was fun to listen to.
