The True Story of Gifted Neurosurgeon Ben Carson

Cuba Gooding Jr. (Daddy Day Camp) stars as Neurosurgeon Ben Carson in this story of his life.
Beginning with a difficult operation ahead of him, Gooding Jr. settles back to study the matter as we are taken back in time to Ben's childhood and his difficulties growing up in a poor family. As time goes by Carson discovers his true self and movies beyond his handicaps to become perhaps the greatest Neurosurgeon to have ever lived.
Gooding Jr. gives a wonderful performance and the supporting cast do as well.
Rated 5 of 5 for a truly inspirational movie that may bring a few tears.

) This is a wonderful story of asking for God to guide your life in overcoming adversity. It is well written and well acted. We could use many more of these type of movies about integrity, and doing the right things. Very uplifting.
