The Gift of Dyslexia by Eldon M. Braun, Ronald D. Davis (1997, Paperback)

I homeschool and I have wondered for a while if 2 of my "students" might be dyslexic. I heard about this book in a family magazine and looked it up over the internet. I was very impressed with the authors website (which had a diagnostic test). After buying this book over ebay I would recommend it to any one that has or that knows of any one that has dyslexia. It is very informative, easy to read and understand. I give it 5 stars!

Have not read too much of the book yet but what I have read was very informative. I had a son with a learning disability and we thought he had dyslexia but from what I have read his was not exactly that. The book was recommended to be by a man whose wife has dyslexia. I have a granddaughter who is having trouble reading and want to check further to see is she possibly has dyslexia.

I really wanted this book, my son has been diagnosed with Dyslexia and I am very interested in reading a book written by someone who has been through the condition himself. I love the fact that the book has actual activities that can be used by anyone-- helping others with Dyslexia break through the " reading road block".

I never did receive the item even though I sent an email reminder that I had not received it. I wanted it because I am a teacher of students with special needs.

recieved a copy from someone else liked it and wanted a copy for myself. I am a teacher and this book is good in helping one to understand Dyslexia.
