Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar

These are nice guitars for the money- they come with Burst Bucker Pros- the necks are nice size- a little on the bigger size - like Les Paul should be- sounds great with the Burst Buckers- hot pickups- plays great and is lighter than regular Pauls- they are cambered- nice case- Great value for American made guitar- could play it all day.

After getting it set up it sounds amazing. It has that real gibson sound ive been looking for. Its a little beat up but that gives it some character.

I've always wondered how the early Gibson LP Studios sounded like. And I wasn't disappointed with this purchase cause it sounded as creamy and loud as my 82 custom with Tim Shaws which I like a lot. I think this is now a rare vintage, being one of the early Les Paul Studios produced from 1984 to 1989 with pearl dots! It came with a vintage OHS case too. I had to replace the tuning keys and knobs though, but definitely this one's a keeper. Awesome axe.

This axe rocks. I have a American Standard Strat HSS and the LP Studio's sound is far superior. However, the factory set up on the Strat is better. Both have beautiful finishes. The Strat had more case candy too, but the Gibson case fits more snuggly. I am just blown away by the sound of the LP. If you like to rock get one.

This is a Les Paul Studio Lite. It is about the same weight as my Fender Strats, and considerably lighter than my LP Standard, and WAY less than my LP Custom. I was very happy to find little to no difference in sound, and the same playability as my other LPs. It has the terrible Gibson tuners that all my LPs have, and will be changing those very soon. Locking tuners are the only way to go on the Gibsons.
In this particular case the seller was extremely co-operative, and described the guitar well, so I was pleased on delivery. I love it when you get something better than expected!

This Les Paul guitar is so cool,it fits like a glove.The wood grain real stands out and the tone is great.I feel like I got a good deal,and the transaction was so smooth.I knew when I saw it open for bids that I had to have it.

After not playing for 17 years, I got interrested and thought I'd give it a try again. I wanted the Les Paul sound and feel without investing a whole lot, so I went with the Epiphone Les Paul Studio. Am happy I did. It was the correct choice. The guitar plays and sounds great. Although it's the lesser price unit made by Gibson under the title Epiphone, unless you do it for a living, you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference. It both looks and plays great. There is nothing I dislike about it

instrument arrived in great condition, shipping was safe, and not too many aesthetic problems with it..

what i've read online about it is true, it's a lovely instrument, very sleek, very playable, nice crunchy tone.. though I found it a little too dark for my tastes through my amp..
I would try it with some better marshalls and perhaps change out the pickups.

but totally worth the buy!

1990 Les Paul Studio is an awesome guitar.This one has a 490 T pickup at the neck w/ a Duncan JB installed @ the bridge.Great combination. The JB really brightnens up the sometimes dark 490`s when both pick ups are in play.
This one also has an ebony fretboard when coupled w/ the solid mahogny body w/ the maple top makes this guitar very heavy but well worth it for the tone and sustain that you can get.

Beautiful guitar, wine red glossy with gold hardware, much prettier than I had expected. Packed well and shipped quickly, sounds great, looks great.

I bought a 2007 les paul studio and I can honesty say it's hard to beat as far as sound and quality go. I have 11 guitars and out of all of them I use my Gibson the most. I run it threw my cyber twin or my Johnson mellemium. I plan to keep it forever, it will be worth money in years to come.

First of all the Gibson Les Paul Studio guitar is on of the best instruments made.It is made in the USA and the pure wood used to make it are exquisite.I comes with a maple top and matched mahogany back which gives it such a rich sound. I have played all types of guitars including the Epiphone Les Paul which is a good alternative at a lower price. But nothing compares but the real deal.I love this ax.
