When Ghosts Speak by Mary Ann Winkowski (2007, Hardcover)

I love the way she wrote this book! It's down-to-earth, factual and honest. She's answered many of my questions. If I didn't have work to do, I would not have put this book down until I had finished it! Reading this book made me feel like a good friend was sitting here with me, sharing her personal experiences.

AWESOME BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this book because I was thrilled to find out that one of my favorite TV shows, Ghost Whisperer, was actually based on true experiences of real life situations. Somehow I KNEW that some of that had to be true! I really wanted to read what this amazing woman has experienced, and was not dissapointed.

Wonderful book! I highly recommend to anyone with interests in spirits, ghosts, or after life experiences. I've read it a few times, and always catch something new.

This book was recommended to me by a friend. I'm in a Paranormal Group and reading this book helped me to understand more clearly about true spirits and what we can do for them. In the last couple of chapters, you will learn things that YOU can do to recognize if a spirit is near, how they got there, how to help them, and even how you might keep them away once they are gone.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK! Even if you just want to read about ghosts in a more realistic way.

This book is so easy to understand and if someone things there is a spirit around them there is tips you can use to find out.I would share this book with all of my friends and family who would have questions about the spirit world.

You have got to read this book! Want to know what happens immediately after you die? Want to know if deceased spirits are hanging around? Mary Ann shares many of her encounters with "ghosts" and how to deal with them (or not). Very fast read, eye opening, and often humorous. Everyone I tell about this book wants to borrow it.

I loved the way Mary Ann shared both her experiences and provided information and guidance as well all at the same time. It was entertaining and informative and left me wanting more. I certainly hope she decides to continue writing.

I bought this book to have a greater insight in to the person who inspired Ghost Whisperer as well as to gain greater knowledge of the spirt world.

I like the show Ghost Whisperer and really enjoyed reading about the real person behind the show. This really gave me a new outlook about the spirit world.

Do not give this book to anyone you like as it will scare them to death.
Winkowski agrees with Van Praagh that earth bound ghosts follow anyone they are attracted to home from the mall, theatre, restaurant, ballgame etc.and than suck up your energy which they need to feel vital.
And you will need a ghost-buster (Winkowski) to rid yourself of these ghosts inhabiting your house/car/office as their presence allegedly ruins your health.
Unfortunatley, when you go out into the world, MORE ghosts can be attracted to you so you will never be rid of this pestilence.
I read the book through, but it is not a keeper - takes away hope and reason for optimism in controlling your own life. Also, Winkowski sttes she has the power to create the White Light of SPIRIT in which souls enter the tunnel to Heaven. I thought only God has the power to do that. No other Light Worker has claimed the ability to MAKE God's White Light. The White Light IS Spirit (God).

This is a most interesting book, which I had a hard time putting down. The author has a very talented way of writing, always keeping your interest. Whether you believe there are earthbound spirits among us or not, I think you'll enjoy this book! I personally do feel that there are, and a lot of this book was very comforting in a lot of ways. This makes the TV show "Ghost Whisperer" all the more interesting, as the author is a consultant on that show, and James Van Praagh wrote the foreword. Mesmerizing!!!
