Regardless of the numerous civil right smovies we've seen over the years, this film puts you right in the middle of the pain and suffering of those who lived it. Whoopi Goldberg should have won an Oscar for her stellar performance as Myrlie Evers. This movie also makes one wonder if things really have changed since the 60s in the South and is racism still brewing on the back burner as the world changes. A great movie with a great cast and just enough mystery to make you think about diversity in a whole new way because the story is from our own American history.
