Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (DVD, 2009)

This movie surprised me, yeah it had all the romantic comedy trappings but this seemed to have a message about the human condition. How our relationships mold into what we are. The take off on "A Christmas Carol" works more than I thought it would. If you like Matthew and Jennifer you already now what to expect form these two. It was a treat seeing Michael Douglas back playing Uncle Wayne the ladies man. It give this movie a 7 out of 10 on the overall movie scale but a 8 out of 10 on the romantic comedy scale. Most movies like this start off good and lose me towards the end, this one had me from the beginning.

very good movie!! anything with matthew in it is awesome!! very funny and easy to follow!!! michael douglas was amazing also!! all of the ghosts were very well played and definitely a must see film.

While it may have been somewhat entertaining, the PG-13 rating was definitely wrong. I would have NEVER taken a 13 yr. old to see this movie. It involved uncaring casual sexual affairs, one right after the other through 3/4 of the movie. Yes, the ending tries to rectify the immorality and callousness of most of the movie, but the ending in no way made up for what most of the movie was composed of. I was so looking forward to viewing this movie. What a disappointment!

Matthew McConaughey (Fools Gold and many more) plays Connor Mead, a womanizing playboy who's philosophy in life is to make love, not fall in love.

When he is invited to his brothers wedding he runs into his lifelong friend Jenny (Jennifer Garner) and the ghost of his uncle whom he has modeled his life after (Played by Michael Douglas).

On the same premise as the movie Scrooge, Conner is shown his failed life by three ghosts.

The premise of the movie is an old story and I was expecting to be disappointed, however it turns out that McConaughey and Garner bring a quality to the movie that made it entertaining.

I recommend anyone who wants to see a good comedy / romance film to go ahead and watch this one.

I was expecting more from this movie. I love Matthew but in this movie I did not see chemistry between Jennifer and him at all which made the movie a bit awkward to watch.

I never recieved this DVD and never recieved a refund. I have tried to e-mail the seller as I was advised by Paypal. I e-mailed twice with no reply. Very dissappointed. On the rating, I could not give a rating so I just said poor not related to the movie itself.

Bought due to being a Matthew McConaughey fan. Bought to add to collection of DVD's. Movie was funny and enjoyable. Great actor.

I like how the movie is brand new, great condtion, fast shipping. This seller was real great with everything.

I liked that the movie was funny and I could easily relate to it. The actors and actresses were great. I love Jennifer Garner as well as Michael McConeghy. They both are hilarious. I would recommend the movie to anyone who enjoys romantic comedies. Definately go and see the movie if you haven't already and then purchase it right away.
