I decided to buy this book after it was mentioned on an episode of "A Haunting" TV show on the Discovery Channel. I really enjoyed "Ghosts Among Us", and read it in two days! It's written in a very conversational style, but detailed like an investigative journalist. It includes pictures,facts, and contact information, which I found very interesting. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in ghosts, the paranormal, and the unexplained.

Like books about ghosts. This one has a lot of good stories. Has stories that are familiar and stories that you might not have heard. Overall this is a good book, nothing negative about it.

A Bit of a SnoozerI love paranormal books. I like them filled with historical facts that link the activity to the paranormal.
I found this book to be a bunch of stories. Not much in the way of history,or science and the pictures were not of the paranormal.....just of various locations that people claim to be haunted.
The author irritated me a bit. I was dissapointed because her mother is a wonderful author. Leslie Rule's constant "questions" in the book are very annoying. "Was this the ghost of so and so"...."was the ghost haunting this area because....". Dull read. I did find a couple of stories interesting, but am donating this one to Goodwill.

) I just love this book. The stories are true!!! They sent goose bumps down my spine!!!!! I just love to read about ghosts and this has to be one of the best books!!!!

Ghosts Among Us by Leslie Rule (2004)I bought this book, after I read Coast to Coast Ghost Huntings.
I was expecting this book to better, it is not different than traditional paranormal, ghost experiences style books.
Most of the stories are similar to the ones you heard or read on internet, magazines and news papers.
I must admit she is a good writer, she investigates but it could be better/
