Ghosts Among Us by James Van Praagh (2008, Hardcover)

It does have a lot of info if you have an open mind there are some parts that do not make sense like a mother not telling her son that his father died in a car accident instead said he left them, just to coverup her affair with another man. Telling her kid the truth would have been better besides her husband was died so her secret would have been keep anyways.

Well written book... Brought to light some of the things I've thought about. The book is not for all people. Folks like Mr. Praagh with special gifts have always fascinated me. In the case of Mr. Praagh; he has the gift of seeing ghosts / spirits. He sees ghosts in normal surroundings (i.e. airport, ...) Difficult to put the book down.

I bought it as a result of a TV show with Mr. James Van Praagh as the featured guest.

I've just barely made it into the 2nd chapter and I'm already blown away, I almost don't want to read it for fear of ruining my enjoyment later. I loved Talking to Heaven and I have a feeling this will be much better

Fantastic. I bought the book for a co worker. she has been looking for the book for quite awhile. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes very interesting things to read.

I read James' first books and they were good, this book was excellent.
Alot of information contained for the person who is looking for confirmation about the after life.

James Van Praagh "Ghosts". Was not what I expected. I found it both compelling and informative. It was a wonderful book that I couldn't put down. I feel the believer and non-believer will find that this book will make you think about the here-after in a new way. I would highly recommend this book to anyone, skeptics and believers alike.

I decided to buy the book after I saw an interview with James Van Praagh on television. A fascinating read. The book answered most of my questions on this topic.

GHOSTS AMOUNG US IS A GOOD BOOK WITH INFORMATION ABOUT THE UNKNOW.IT IS VERY INTERESTING AND HARD TO PUT DOWN,IF YOUR INTO THE PERINORMAL.

It gave me a better understanding of what has been going on in my life. my 14 yr. old daughter is reading it now, she says she needs to find the reasons for the things he talked about on Dr. Phil and her experiances at home.

I am enjoying this book so much. The author is very sincere and is quite descriptive in his experiences. Wonderful!

This book is an easy first read about about James Van Praagh and his communications with ghosts/spirits.

It's a book. I wanted it. It was a fair price. Arrived quickly. I am happy. This is not an usful excersise to do on book purchases. I will not do any more.

the first time i had read this book i just checked it out of the library, read it in a day and have saw things in life a little different since.when a family member passed away, i wanted to re-read it to help myself thru it.i bought the book and loved it all over again.james van praagh gives hope, and sheds light on subjects that everyone wonders but is too afraid to ask.i completely recommend this book, especially to those dealing with a loss.2 thumbs up!!

This is the fourth James Van Praagh book I've purchased and read and I wasn't disappointed. With the first book I was skeptical but curious about the subject so I had to approach it with an open mind and I'm so glad I did. His writing style is easy to understand and I just seem to speed through his books...can't put them down. His guidance on meditation is very helpful as well. Even a die-hard skeptic would be hard pressed to say that spirit communication is not at least possible. Mr. Van Praagh just makes too logical a case for it. It's opened my mind to a lot of other possibilities and thinking a little more out-of-the-box. Just that in itself makes it worthwhile.

I follow James van Praagh's work and really enjoy his writings, so naturally bought hisw latest book - I am very interested in ghosts who are around us.
