Desert Cop in Literal Ghost Town Banging Ghost Women!
Review created: 10/13/09(updated 10/13/09)
Ghost Town is the story of runaway bride Catherine Hickand who gets abducted in the middle of the desert when her car breaks down by an unknown assailant riding a horse. In comes hotshot policeman Franc Luz, whose on the trail which leads him to a literal Ghost Town, where ghosts are cursed to live there in purgatory until the evil gunslinger Devin (Jimmie F. Skaggs) and his gang are taken out. While the film is slow to start, it gets moving when Luz finally starts taking on the gang and the end result is a decent 80's western horror. For the most part, the acting isn't all that bad from this relatively small-scale cast, save for Bruce Glover (Crispin's father) who has a small role as one of the townsman. There's plenty of western violence and a decent amount of blood thrown around. All in all, not a bad movie. If this EVER makes it DVD, I would probably purchase it.
