Ghost Rider (DVD, 2007, Full Frame)

This movie is an awesome action movie. Very good graphics. Not much of a Nicholas Cage fan but he did an awesome job in this movie. Would Highly recommend. Not Recommended for younger viewers.

To give you a bit of an idea about where I am coming from in this review I did collect the Ghost Rider comics from the early 90's for a few years. So I was well versed in the story and history of "The Ghost Rider" when I went to watch this movie.

I can say that first of all this Marvel comics movie is no where near the level of the Spiderman, Iron Man, or X-men movies. In fact I think this movie falls in line with movies that Marvel put out like Daredevil and The Punisher movie. It is a solid 3/5.

The acting of Nicolas Cage is decent but not stellar. There is nothing wrong with his performance but it is not spectacular to say the least. The supporting actors are fine. The Blackheart character is a bit cheese though.

The strongest part of this movie is the Computer Graphics and the action. Personally, I'm glad they waited this long to create the movie in order to have the best CGI possible. How else can you have a Ghost Rider running around if you do not have the graphics for it.

The storyline is alright and captures the essence of The Ghost Rider comics. Nothing spectacular but you get the idea of what the rider is all about.

A solid 3/5. A great way to waste a Saturday afternoon but I'm not sure you can rewatch this movie a bunch of times.

This was an excellent adaption of the comic book that I loved in the late 70's and early 80's. However, I think Nicholas Cage got a somewhat overdramatic near the end when he told Satan he was going to keep the Ghost Rider powers.

This is a good movie that anyone can enjoy with the family. I'm not really a fan of the comic books turned movies, but this one is different. With Nicolas Cage demonstrating the effects that one can have by making a deal with the devil in order to obtain something in return is amazing. It not only shows you the consequences, but the results of what can happen when a spur of the moment desicion can affect, change and make your life for the future. Highly recommend this movie because it has everything one can look for: Action, drama, suspense, and a bit of romance it in.

I watched this movie and enjoyed it. The special effects and camara views are great but other than that the story is predicatble and replicated by hollywood. It's not a bad film but I would say a rental would do.

By far the worst movie I've ever seen - and I love Nic Cage.
His accent was horrible, the acting was sloppy - the story sucked.
The only reason I watched the whole thing is Peter Fonda and Sam Shephard.
If they do have a GR2, maybe they'll cast someone else - and to be fair, Eva Mendes was terrible too.

I just LOVE this movie! It is fun, whitty, mean, evil all rolled in one! Nicholas Cage plays the CRAFTY devil biker cursed by the devil! This is a perfect movie and Eva Merandez is perfect as his female friend! This is a MUST SEE!! I bought it and have watched it several times already! Love Nicholas Cage is this movie! A+

He has the tightest powers, the fastest ride, and gets the hottest girl. Spidy or Superman don't come close.

Ghost Rider is a good movie.something different besides same old love mush!we need more action movies these days.

This is one fine movie,90% action so much to see you have to watch it several times just to see how much you missed.
I was glad I bought this DVD and will watch it often over the years to come.

I love the graphics inthis movie. Sam Elliot is just great in this part. My daughter loves the ghost rider Nicholas Cage. She goes around all the time saying "look into my eyes". The begining is a little slow at first but then it gets realy good.

The movie is a very good production, even if it isn't really for the little ones. Some parts in the movie were quite vivid and some children would be very scared. But as a marvel enthusiast, it was an awsome movie.

Ghost Rider 2007(DVD) was in Great condition. there was nothing wrong with the disc. and i recieved it quickly .I will bye fom this seller again.

This is a great comic book movie. The special effects are outstanding and Nicholas Cages performance is perfect. Its a fun movie to watch over and over again, thats why I decided to buy it.

I enjoyed the movie. It is a unique look at the Ghost Rider Comics. It does mix the different Ghost Riders together, but the movie is still enjoyable. The DVD does not have much in the way of extras, but the movie is fine.

Now this is a good movie. The kind you will sit down and watch again and again. My son thinks the Motercycle is awesome. This one is a keeper.
