Ghidorah: The Three-Headed Monster (DVD, 2007)

The "boot-leg" I had purchased many years ago on e'bay, was finially starting yo wear out. So this re-master came just in time.

This was a good classic Godzilla movie. It has great effects for its time and some what comical in a good way. One of the best movies with King Ghidorah.

I love how they woven this plot that some aliens have chosen a princess to send a message to the people of Earth warning about the arrival of Ghidrah. The thing I didn't like was the fact they made the princess a target of a terrorist organization. The scene that steals the film is Ghidrah's fight with Godzilla, Rodan, and Mothra. I wanted to buy it because it is the most important film in the Godzilla series. It is the introduction of Ghidrah, a three-headed gold skin dragon from outer space. Also, Ghidrah would be the most recurring monster in the Godzilla series. This is the first time Mothra teamed up with Godzilla and the first time Rodan appeared along side Godzilla, it's a must have for any Godzilla fan.

Ghidorah was always one of Godzilla's most powerful villains, and this is his debut film, digitally remastered. Despite the title, it's not really about the three-headed monster. It's about a princess who believes she's a space alien warning Earth's people of impending doom, while unknown to her, a shady group of individuals is on the hunt for her! Ghidorah, eventually threatening destruction of Earth, must be stopped by the likes of Rodan, Godzilla, and Mothra Larvae. But will the three work together?
