Gevalia Coffee for Two 85188 14-Cup Coffee Maker

its good for not making a whole pot of coffee when you wont drink it all. The only thing I didn't like is that it sweats a little while making the coffee and kinda looks like it leaks.

The coffee maker works exactly as it is supposed, however the quality of the cup of coffee is below average. We have used it about half a dozen times and have yet to get the amount of gounds right. We are up to 3 and 1/2 scoops of grounds per cup and still the cup of brewed coffee is not up to what we get out of our 12 cup maker. We are going to try a couple of times more before giving up.

I actually got one of these as a free gift by joining the limited edition coffee club. It broke within a week, so i called them and had to purchase another one for 40.00 plus shipping. It JUST broke last week (so after two weeks of receiving it).

This is my alternate machine for on-the go. As with all Gevalia products, I have had total success. "Grab your thermal cup and run" Quality machine as per my experience, and a fast brewing item. Great for the regular & decaf household.

This coffee maker works out perfectly. I can brew 2 large cups of coffee that are large enough to have the equivalent of one cup at home for breakfast and take the rest with me to finish on the way to work (it brews a 16 oz. cup). It stays very hot in the travel mugs and lasts a while. You can also just brew one cup if you want. It really is nice and doesn't take up a lot of counter space. It's perfect for me and my husband!

At first brew, I agree with dickie doo. Funky taste, don't know if it must be broken in and will improve or maybe the reason there's so many "for sale". I wonder that it seems to brew very, very hot may affect the taste?! Timer function is cool, but the 5 somewhat loud end of brew beeps startled even the cats.

My Rival Dual/Single cupper brewed well until it died 3 months past warranty (not manufactured anymore, hmmmm). I see a couple in here but thought to give this one a try. We'll see...

When it comes to being on the go, this is perfect. In less than the amount of time it takes to make a regular pot of coffee it's done, ready to go. Just put the top on and run out the door.

I've used it daily since my big coffee maker broke and now I don't know if I'll go back to a regular one. I can have just one 14 oz. cup or two different types of coffee (or flavors) brewed at once and they stay hot in their stainless steel mugs until I drink them. No more going to Starbucks to get coffee in the middle of the day. I just brew two mugs and I'm ready to start my day.
It's very easy to use and you can buy the regular #2 filters to use with this great little gadget.

I like it because I am only one who like coffee in the family - for me its fast & easy and more important its less to clean and no more wasted coffee - No lef overs!!!!!

Transaction was quick, delivery was reasonable. Replaced older model that we had over used and was not working any longer

great for making single cups of coffee. brews the coffee fast. but coffee is extremely hot. I brew it, spend my time getting ready, grab it (adding cold creamer) going out the door and its still to hot to drink for awhile. Better to have to hot than to cold though. I dont like that it takes special filters. I just buy the ones from the store, and they work although they dont fit correctly. It is very simple to use and easy to program.

We bought this machine specifically for use when traveling. We followed the instruction exactly. Once brewed, one cup was full while the other was only half full. I have to say I was very disappointed.

this Gevalia coffee maker for two is EXCELLENT for the couple who has to drink two kinds of coffee, one regular & one decaf. My original one quit working & I am looking for another one on ebay, I like it so much!

I love the fact that it is programmable & you can use one or two mugs which brews into it's own travel mug.

The coffee pot itself is great, but it came with no instructions and there is no way of knowing what kind of fliters it takes at all. I even went to the site and they couldn;t tell me because it's not sold now.

This is a coffee pot that was advertised as 14 cup but was really 14oz. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this coffee pot.
