David Allen gives systems to keep all areas of life under control. His observations and examples are right on. The book gives good general guidelines while leaving flexibility for what will work for each individual. Excellent material and life changing. "To get things done, you must know what done means and what doing looks like."

Being a professional executive and business owner I'm overwhelmed sometimes at all the items we have to deal with non a daily basis. I've been a student of most of the productivity course out there namely Stephany Winston but this one by David Allen is BY FAR the best I've encountered. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Takes a bit to get it all down and work it through so do know you'll have to be committed. WELL WORTH the time and money invested.

So far, I have changed a lot of my organizational habits. I feel more in control and less a nervous sense of not quite sure what I'm forgetting to do. It's been a very helpful system. I haven't yet listened to the 3rd cd but certainly plan too soon. I haven't used all of his techniques but have gotten a lot out of what I've learned so far.

) I bought it because my son's employer asked him to read this book as a condition of employment. I have a job that is full of detail, as a researcher, and I am always looking for better time management techniques. I bought the audio, abridged version. I listened to it 3+ times, and found it to be excellent. He has a system that is based on "the next action" that I found efficient and simple. Filing system also helpful. I would recommned this book to anyone who has more than a few balls in the air. Excellent system.
