Getting frustrated with Lego Trains!

I would first like to state this is an very thought out book for the most part. The building instructions are clear and accurate but the book can leave you frustrated if you do not have all the Lego (R) building blocks you need to build each model. This book comes with instructions for a locomotive, intermodal car, and for an old style refrigerator car. Although the book is informative and well written, trying to find the needed bricks to make each model may be a hassel. You can always use your imagination and alter the designs, but it would be nice to have a part count or piece list so you can determine how many of each piece you would need to find or get in lots online. There are website links in an appendix that explains some on how to locate parts, but in my opinion that is something that could have been included in the text, at least for the 3 desins given.
This is a good beginning book, but in my opinion if you already have a few Lego (R) train sets there isn't a whole lot of information in this book you can't find out from Lego (R) or from doing a little research.
I would recommend this book for anyone who knows nothing about Lego (R) trains, but if you already have a few sets don't bother.
This is around 200 pages and could have easily been double of that.
