A Good Investment

I bought this book the summer before my first semester of law school. I read several chapters before classes began and just that little bit of information really gave me a better understanding of the classes. I felt prepared for the material and the structure, and confident that I wouldn't be confused around exam time. I am still in my first semester, so I have not yet been able to put the book's instructions to a real exam yet, but I'll let you know how it goes this December!
The first half of the book can be tedious and sometimes confusing if you haven't had more than a few weeks of law school. You'll initially get discouraged and start thinking that there's no way that you could ever do what the authors are asking you to do, but the second half of the book will clear all those doubts away. If you're in a time crunch, just read the second half, which has all the tips for exam taking laid out and easy to understand. This book will help alot -- if nothing else, having read it will give you the extra boost of confidence you may need to perform well in class and on exams. Of course, as the authors say time and again, there is NO substitute for attending class and listening to your professor!
