Movie Description
Sophie (Wendy Crewson) left her family's Canadian ranch to become a lounge singer. Now, at 30, she must return home for her father's funeral. At her mother's urging, she turns her back on her career in order to keep the ranch running, and immediately finds her self attracted to the handsome ranch hand, Alex (Paul Gross). When he proposes to her, she must weigh the options and weed through a number of obstacles, both business and family-related. This warmhearted television production features music by k.d. lang.
