I cannot believe that a single band can put out such a great product! I first heard "Scars", the single, on the radio and absolutely loved it. I then bought the album and was pleasantly surprised. I thought Papa Roach wasn't this good, but they are! Every song on "Getting Away With Murder" is awesome! They're all unique and not at all boring. But what really got me was the energy. There's so much passion in the vocals and guitar parts. It's just an in-your-face album that demands your attention and never stops until it's over.

I had really big hopes for this album since LoveHateTragedy was somewhat of a let down but did have its strong points. GAWM is there second best after Infest; which I still consider an awesome major debut album. This one though does start off pretty rough until you get to "Not Listening" then it pretty much skyrockets into GAWM and among other good songs, awesome cd if you're a true roach!! hope this helps

Papa Roach went almost emo on some of their songs but it seems as a lot of bands are going softer now. I really like this cd except for the fact that I think I lost it already....

) I just went to the Nickleback, papa roach, Hinder, Saving Abel concert and absolutely loved it so wanted to get the cd, it is an awesome sound track. LOVE IT

I PURCHASE MUSIC ON EBAY BECAUSE OF THE GREAT PRICE. THIS PURCHASE WAS A GOOD EXAMPLE.THE ONLY THING I DIDN'T LIKE WAS THE CONDITION OF THE CD.IT WAS COVERED WITH SCRATCHES. I CHECKED THE WAY YOU GRADE USED CD'S AND I FEEL LIKE THE SELLER WAS WITHIN EBAYS GUIDELINES. IT PLAYS FINE BUT IF I EVER DECIDE TO SELL IT ON EBAY I WOULD NOT SELL IT WITHOUT LETTING THE BIDDERS KNOW ABOUT THE SCRATCHES.I WAS SCHOCKED WHEN I SEEN THE CD. SO IN CLOSING BEFORE YOU BUY USED CD'S ASK THE SELLER ABOUT ANY VISABLE DAMAGE EVEN IF IT PLAYS FINE.

The main single off of this CD is "Scars". I'm sure most have heard it. The rest of the CD is just as good. Jacoby has a powerful and clear singing voice that changes from rough to melodic throughout the songs. The lyrics are some of the best, covering alcohol addiction, bad friends, never-giving up on dreams, etc. The band does have an earlier released CD with a different sound, similar to limp bizkit, but Getting Away With Murder is a huge departure from that soundwise, like a completely different band; appreances as well.
This is now my favorite CD, I recommend it to everyone, there is a P.A on the CD, so be careful not to accidently buy the *clean*/kiddie version. It's really not that many words, but is surprisely disruptful to the songs without it. Be careful a seller does not try to sell you this version. If it's not mentioned, send a message for clarification. I got the wrong one sent to me(w/ a damaged case no less), did get a full refund, but the seller then put it right back up on ebay without changing the description. Beware!
But most importantly, get this CD! Now- go ahead...
