Get Thrashed (DVD, 2008, Special Edition)

If you are like me (old), but you remember the good ol' days when Metallica was new and exciting and when thrash bands like Exodus, Voivod, Nuclear Assault, and Anthrax were putting out kick ass albums, then this DVD is for you!
If you remember throwing your elbows about in the pits with a million other metal maniacs, then this DVD will take you back down memory lane. It discusses the rise and fall of classic thrash and the emergence of the Harcore scene. There's lots of music and lots of mosh action, definately a DVD to pull out when your punk ass kids tell you that you arent cool! Ha! show them this and tell em' you invented cool!

A very comprehensive look at the Thrash movement From L.A. and S.F. Bay Area to N.Y. to Arizona to Europe and beyond. A great learning experience for both the die-hard 'bangers and the up'n comers. The DVD delves a little into Black & Death Metal as well as hardcore and even Motorhead, all in which they find relevance. Plus great bonus material! A little rough around the edges at times production wise (all on purpose according to the producers in the extra bonus section of the DVD) a job well done either way. Now we need a Hair Metal documentary - and I'm serious! Buy or die!

33 days to receive my item ( dvd) i could of rented it quicker,when i asked the company when my item shipped they gave me the whole media mail excuse and a ship date 13 days later then i bought it.So I guess it take's 13 days after they get my money from the bank to process my order, then another 20 to ship it within the U.S. I wont buy dvd's off ebay anymore by the time they get here i forgot why i wanted to see anyhow.I'm sick of people listing thing they dont own and scrambling to buy it on amazon and have it shipped to me
