How to Get Started in Stock Car Racing by Circle Track, Primedia Enterprises (2005, Paperback)

This is an awesome book packed full of vital information much needed by the novice builder! I love the attention to detail and method of teaching with hands on pictures, the trip to the salvage yard to pick out the guinee pig, and the lists of contacts at the end of each chapter. (I have already found that helpful)! I don't think that everyone wanting to build a race car will be able to afford to order an engine, or have a racing shop build them one, or even have all of the machine work done that is in the book, but for those that are fortunate enough to do so, the info is great. I know that each track that I have dealt with have different rules, but this book leads you in the direction of covering all of the basics. It is up to each individual to build their car to conform to their local track rules. Great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
