George Orwell and Betrayal of Dissent by Scott Lucas

Aside from the political implications of the book, I was fascinated by the scholarly detailing of Orwell's life. The book skillfully wove his life events into the evolution of his thinking regarding the "establishment". It appears that Lucas is a pacifist, and certainly presents a good argument for lively debate regarding how best to achieve peace in this world.
