George Foreman GR26CB XL Indoor Grill

I bought this indoor grill a week ago on e-bay and tried it out right away. I was so impressed woth how quick and easy it is to use and also to be able to grill indoors. The machine heats up super fast, 2-3 minutes, and no need to spray grill. Food cooks super fast and extra lean as any excess fat drips off sloped shape grill and into catch drip pan. The cooking time is extra fast...burgers in 8-10 minutes, salmon filets in 6-8 minutes, etc...haven't tried any veggies or meats or even grilled sandwiches yet but can't wait. Clean-up was so simple. Just wait till machine completely cools down and I just wiped with a damp sponge, of course no scouring as it would ruin the finish on the grill plates as they have the non-stick finish. This grill is a must and has made cooking so much easier, faster and healthier!!

Makes excellent paninis. Bought as a gift to my sister who admired mine.

I don't think anything will substitute for your regular outdoor BBQ, but this appliance is a great option for grilling indoors, especially when one craves the occasional burger in the dead of winter. This is a much easier and healthier option than using your oven broiler because the George Foreman grill really does drain out most of the fat whereas the broiler does not. It cooks really fast too. The worst part is cleaning up. Most of the grease drains right into the provided trays (they give you two in case one fills up while your still cooking), but you still have to carefully wipe down the grilling surfaces thoroughly after it cools down. The cooking surface is not huge, but is fine when cooking for two or three people. I haven't gotten too creative with it yet, but it does come with a cook book containing quite a variety of different recipes and ideas.

I would say that this product works as advertised. Unlike most "As seen on TV" type products, this one seems to have some staying power. I had been considering one for a few years and finally decided to pick one up. I'm glad I did! It's a quality appliance and should prove satisfactory, as long as you keep your expectations in check...like I said, nothing beats outdoor grilling.

The grill was shoddily packaged and arrived broken in 4 pieces. The seller would not refund my money unless I returned it to her. The shipping would have cost more than the grill, so I took my loss.

I really like the Extra Large, Family Size! I also like the Non-Stick Grilling
Plates. I love how quickly this thing grills!! It is twice as fast as a regular grill, because it cooks both sides at the same time! I also like the
Sloped Grill Surface, which drains the fat & grease away from the food! And, the floating hinge allows you to cook thin to thick cuts of meat, steaks, fish,
chicken, burgers, & vegetables! It is also very easy-to-clean with a damp sponge. I reckon that the stationary Grilling Plates are a problem for some
folks, but I have have never felt the need to remove them for cleaning. They
are just fine like they are.
I do not know how this Grill rates in comparison to others, because this is the
first one that I have purchased. But, to be honest, I did comparison shop
around, and this one just seemed like it was on top of the heap!! And, this
one WAS PRICED RIGHT!! WITH FREE SHIPPING, TOO!! AND, this one also came with
its own BIG, OLE COOKBOOK, designed just for it!! It was NEW IN THE BOX, too!!
I just could not go wrong . . . AND I DID NOT GO WRONG!!!
