Synopsis After the death of her husband and the disappearance of her older daughter, a Midwestern housewife named Maggie takes her two remaining children and returns to New England to become a teacher at the prestigious boarding school she attended. As Maggie does her best to handle the damage done by the twin tragedies, her daughter and son try to rise above the problems of their past and fit in at their new school. Eventually, however, they all come to realize that the harder you fight to bury your memories, the more likely they are to emerge in unexpected places.
