The Geography of Bliss by Eric Weiner (2008, Unabridged, Compact Disc)

I got this in audio form and listened to it in the car over the course of a week, going back and forth to work. I really enjoyed it and have now passed it off to my husband. The author mixes humor with facts -- talks about unknown places (unknown to me), and comes up with his analysis. I felt like I could hear the noises in India, and see those rich people in Qatar, and imagine what Iceland is like in the middle of the day when it's still dark. Great book. The current economic crisis may be impacting his conclusion of the happiest place. . .
