Movie Description
The comedy anime series GENSHIKEN finds humor and pathos in the lives of the regular otaku (anime fans), some of whom might very well be watching the show. Sasahara starts his first day of college not knowing a soul, and decides to join a club and make some friends. But he carries with him a horrible secret: he is obsessed with "nerdy" interests like anime and video games. Luckily, he encounters a club called Genshiken, which is dedicated to those very hobbies, and whose members are much like Sasahara himself. GENSHIKEN follows Sasahara and his new friends as they struggle with their outcast social status while finding pleasure and humor in the world of manga and anime. In this third volume of episodes, Saki's friends finally convince her to try cosplay. To make things even more fun, Keiko considers joining in with the hopes of winning Kohsaka's heart.
