) Just great songs on this CD.Some of his early songs were wonderful.He was hard but true!I was lucky enough to see him LIVE...and when."the sh-t has hit the fan."everyone in the place was with him..Great CD!!

Very good albumOnly album I own by Warren Zevon. A great work by a great artist. Some of the topics and lyrics are a bit dark; but I great insight into Zevon the musician.

the best of warren zevonThe cd is great if you are a fan of warren zevon you will love this cd. From the first track to the last it is a master piece. There are some tracks that I was not familiar with but they where also great. He will be missed greatly.

A wonderful genius
) This CD is worth having for many reasons: you can hear Zevon's music as performed by him and you can also hear who Zevon's songs have such an appeal to other singers and songwriters. It should be a companion to the tribute CD "enjoy every sandwich" which is the best-known tribute album.
This CD has all his best-known songs and many of his lesser classics that should have become greatest hits. You'll enjoy this CD if you like great music well-written and witty.
