Fine if you like radiant... basically no benefit.

Never had a radiant cooktop before... I would have a gas grill any day!
Gets too hot or not hot enough, hard to get right where you need it. Stays warm for a looong time after you're done.
Nice to clean though (this is basically the only benefit) Extremely low profile. We've had one switch go out in 2 years.
