General Electric 29581GE1 1-Line Corded Phone

I bought this phone initially for its large buttons, and they work just as nicely as I had hoped. It's the first phone I've had with inboard Caller ID since I got that service, and that's really nicer than having a separate box to clutter up the table. The display is large and sharp. The Caller ID is integrated, in that I can tab back to a recent call and tell the phone to dial that number. (Note: I live in a two-area code area, so I had to not tell the phone a local area code so that it would do 10-digit dialing on "local" numbers.) The speaker button is nice for phone mail, I can tap it to hear if I've got the toot-toot-toot of messages waiting.

I purchased this product mainly for my wife and her use.She apparently has no gripe's so far. There is a down side in fact you must change the batteries in order to maintain caller id

I needed a phone with call waiting, and speaker. This was the perfect phone that I wanted and very inexpensive. The service from the provider was perfect.
