General Electric 28871FE3 1-Line Corded / Cordless Phone

I LIKED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE PHONE, FROM GOOD BUILD QUALITY TO GOOD RECEPTION, OVERALL GREAT PHONE SYSTEM FOR THE PRICE!

I am sorry to say that the product does not work correctly. Only the base unit will work for calls. The other features do not work at all on the base, no caller ID or the answering machine. The two other units only say searching and do not work at all. But, honestly, for the price I paid, I can not say that this is something that I am going to complain about. The unit appeared to be new, so it could just be a lemon. I am not interested in a refund, nor do I blame anyone for this experience. Just got what I paid for this time and I realize that these things happen.

Phone is very economical and more than worth what I paid for it.

The only negative comment I may have about it is the setup. It was a hassle going through the instructions to setup the cordless hand sets.

Otherwise after setup it works Fantastic!

Its impressed with number of features , simpler menus and overall its fine.
Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

Great technology. Very light weight.
All the usual bells and whistles plus Dect 6 technology
Volume can not be adjusted on the wireless handset, however it is still very clear
Good for home and OK for home/office use.

This phone is good to have especially if you have an outage, your phone lines will still work with the corded phone, and then you're not limited to going to one phone when it rings! However I found that the battery life on the cordless phones does not last long or won't hold a full charge. I give this phone a 3 out of 5!!!!

Pros: The price,clear reception, perfect sized dialing keys, simple to use with a professional look.... 3 phones for 45 bux..thats a bargain

Cons: Nothing besides the cord on the corded phone was too short so i fixed that by buying a longer cord.

I really love these phones. I bought this items because I needed phones in my house. I had just got the service back on. I only had a cell phone and no homes phones. So I thought this product would be great to buy. When I get it home at first I thought it would not be of good quality, but once I plugged in the phones and stated using them, I was amazed. They worked so good.

Great item! I expected something fragile, and turns out it works great. Its just what i wanted out of a telephone. Absolutely no inerference with WiFi routers and in case of power outages you dont need to worry of not having a land line avilable.

I like the big buttons on the desk phone, cordless work well, easy to understand for phone book, CID, etc. Microwave does not interfere as it did with all others I have had. Nice you can shut off sound when you are dialing a number.

I did not realize no headset plug in. I will still use these phones for the house but must order a different set for my home office.

I love the phone all of it's features and it is just a great phone all around, very clear easy to use.

I did win the Cordless phone in the action more than 30 day ago, and I never received I don't think that I will buy from e-bay again, very frustating!

No Dislikes. Everything about the phone set is Great. Seller very honist got the aution wrong & when I contacted them they got my order corected and sent me out the part that forgot to ship at first. The AC adapter was not shiped tell later but I did get it and very fast they also refunded me some money back for not getting it shiped with the phones. I will buy from them in the futcher when I find something im interested in cause it is great to have people in the world like this seller. Glad to finally me able to write a review cause I couldn't leave a feedback like I wanted cause they refunded me back some of my money there for the leave feedback disipered.

I love this phone as soon as I saw in the picture, I live in a big apartment, so I need a cordless phone which has more option to ofer and this is the one.

I am happy with this purchse.

i bought this unit for the price and the features.i have a 5.8ghz phone that is the top of the line but when you have networking in your house from the computer this phone picks up static cause by the computer.with the 6.0 dect ge there is no static at all.nice clear sound and loads of features.there is not too much i don"t like about it.

IS A BRAND I HAVE USED AND TRUSTED FOR YEARS I AM REPLACEING AN OLDER G.E. CORDLESS PHONE WITH THIS 6.0 DECT G.E. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!

This phone was a great deal. The security feature is outstanding. The base unit is easily operted even without user friendly instructions. There are two spereate answering features and the L.E.D. (blue) adds a cool modern look to the phone The reseption seems to be awesome. I think I paid around Sixty dollars for the base and two cordless phones

the system was faulty, the number two hand set did not work.
i could have sent it back to seller for a refund, but it would have cost me postage
on top of postage.
so i opted to send it to GE for repair.
