General Electric (28118FE1) 5.8 GHz 1-Line Cordless Phone

I never received my item, but after opening a paypal dispute was refunded by the seller. Would not buy from seller again, but was an honest person and was not a bad seller.

What I love: compact size of phone and its base, blue light keypad and readout, using its features is like using a cell phone, being able to choose a ringtone, no phonejack just an electrical outlet needed for each extension or headset, has a "phone in use" light on the base (helpful since my computer sometimes dials up the internet independently) and my absolute favorite feature is the setting for a beep that tells me I have a message - no more forgetting to check for messages (hooray!).

Not my favorite: the loudest ring volume is not so loud at all, need to have phone in just the right spot to the ear to hear everything unless I want the volume very loud (but the headset solves that issue).

Why I bought it: because it had the most features and compact size I wanted for the buck with a brand I trusted, had a headset available from the same seller and takes up to 6 extensions for which none need a phone jack.

Overall I have to say I highly recommend this phone.

Excellent phone, so small, so slim, different ring tones to choose from, huge screen information even tell you the state party is calling from, good battery life, speaker phone...

Love my friends face when they think it was a cellular phone because its small size. I was so lucky to buy a bundle of a base phone with answering machine along with an extra handset for the price of one!
